Leading with values

by Jessica Vega Pederson

At the debate on Monday, Hillary said:

"We have to restore trust between communities and the police. We have to work to make sure that our police are using the best training, the best techniques... And so we need to do a better job of working again with the communities, faith communities, business communities, as well as the police to try to deal with this problem."

She's right.

At Multnomah County, I will fight for safer neighborhoods, to put an end to systemic inequities, and to ensure public safety for everyone in Portland.

That’s why we elect leaders with the right values. That’s why I’m with Hillary. That’s why it’s critical that we support Oregon’s progressive candidates on Election Day.

Meet Jessica

I am a mother, a business professional, a progressive Democrat, a proud resident of East Portland, and the first Latina elected to the Oregon House of Representatives.

I'm running for Multnomah County Commissioner because I believe everyone in our region deserves a fair shot. I want to make Multnomah County an even better place to live, work, and raise a family. I'm ready to get to work and I hope you'll join us!.
