Our kids' inheritance

by Jessica Vega Pederson

I’m humbled to have received the National Sierra Club’s Distinguished Achievement Award for fighting to pass Oregon’s Clean Electricity and Coal Transition plan. This historic legislation will change the future and environment that our kids inherit.

My job isn’t over.

I’ll keep fighting for a cleaner, greener, more prosperous community as County Commissioner. We’ll do that by working for equitable strategies for emission reductions, alternative transportation options, and safe streets – especially in East Portland.

This is my commitment as a leader.

Meet Jessica

I am a mother, a business professional, a progressive Democrat, a proud resident of East Portland, and the first Latina elected to the Oregon House of Representatives.

As Multnomah County Commissioner I’ve fought to make sure every member of our community has what they need to succeed. I want to make Multnomah County an even better place to live, work, and raise a family. I'm ready to get to work and I hope you'll join us!
